Pastor Matt Baye
Hello, and welcome to Hope’s home on the web! My name is Matt Baye, and I am honored to serve as Hope’s pastor since 2016. I am originally from the area, growing up in Green Bay. I attended Concordia University Wisconsin, graduating in 2006. At Concordia, I met my wife Megan, and we were married in 2006. I studied for the ministry at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, receiving my M.Div. in 2010. From there, God called us to serve at St. Peter Lutheran Church and School in Macomb, MI for six wonderful years, where He blessed us with many great friends, and best of all, three of our children (God has since blessed us with #4 and #5 here in Wisconsin). In 2016, I received and accepted the call to serve at Hope. My family and I count ourselves blessed to share life with God’s people here and to share the love and joy of Jesus in De Pere. I invite you to learn more about what God is doing through our congregation by exploring the site or by reaching out to me directly. His richest blessings to you!
