The title of this message flows from Revelation 7, where God gives us the unique image of a Lamb who is at the same time a shepherd. This is the comfort that Jesus’ incarnation brings: He is simultaneously one of us (able to experience all that we experience, able to understand our pain, and most importantly, able to stand in our place as the sacrifice for sin) while being our Lord, the Creator of all things and the Shepherd of His people. What a blessing it is to know the love and care of our Good Shepherd!
